| Shown is a sequence of images of the differential invariant V in the Kerr spacetime. V is the scaled norm of the gradients of the square of the Weyl tensor. The global behaviour of this local construction is what is important. The sequence starts at A=0.1 and increases A by 0.1 until A=0.9 then inserts A=0.95, 0.98, 0.99, and A=1 after which A increases by 0.1 until A=2. |
